Ok best solution for your issue, stop using windows media player, use VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html) it is legit and it works amazing in so many ways check it out it make take a bit to get the hang of it but thats all i have used ever and no problems

i would not buy it first of all its to much for a used one and also why would you need 24 gbs of ram youre paying for overkill nothing will ever need that, and since its used you will never know if it has any real issues until you buy it and use it for a while

is it when you try to log into the OS? if it is i would just reload Windows(run a restore or if you have the OS disk the reload it with that) , ive seen viruses that kick you off like that after logging into windows.

Sounds like a bad GPU, reflow and keep trying that if not i would just say replace the MOBO if its cheap on ebay

If you dont mind Apple OS then i would def look into a macbook air or a mac at least, Sony , Samsung or Asus are usually the next best

also i would buy a more known brand than the 2 you posted since part availability is a big issue if you ever break it

yea the ASUS ROG laptops are my fav they are def worth the money you should check those out
