    G73sx or G46vw

I went ahed and got the G74SX.. And i'm satisfied with the performance, not regretting my decision at all. But it's huge, and heavy.

I think the quad core cpu will matter more for editing. And performance wise the i7 + overclocked 560m will give more than a dual core with a 660m

So i've always been a pc gamer.. Not much a laptop dude. But now i actually need one to game/edit videos on the way.. I have lots of knowledge about computers.. But laptops are meh, had a macbook pro and i love it and is still using it, but the 6years old laptop with a 320m is not really ideal...

HUGE confusion with 880m on ALIENWARE 17

Uh wow, that is not as i expected, guess i'll have to take that back then. The game uses 5.5gb with that ultra hd pack and it's insane. But still you'd be fine op as you have 8GB.

Yeah 3gb would make sense, not 6. If Gpu-z says you have an 8GB 880m which are known on laptops then you'd be fine.

No game requires 6GB of VRAM, the game requires 4GB as minimum memory which is the RAM that the pc uses not the VRAM which i the Video memory on your graphic card. You will be alright with that game :)

my budget is 450 euro which is around 600 dollars

A build would give you more performance gaming/working/creatively wise. And it's also cheaper and open for upgrades. A 600$ can get u basics, you either can wait and save up more, or just start buying parts :)

About my laptop's performance 2 years later

You would be fine for 2 year with those specs. DX12 will be supported on all DX11 based cards from nvidia (5xx, 6xx, 7xx and upcoming 8xx/9xx) which include yours :)
