    Is an ASUS notebook A541U and it has a single Samsung M471A5244CB0-CRC 4GB stick. Does soldered ram look anything like this: http://www.laptopultra.com/guide/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Asus-UX303LA-Disassembly-3.jpg Cuse I saw this on the motherboard but thought that it was data treatment hardware.

    ASUS 12gb RAM scam?

    So, I opened my brothers ASUS laptop for dust cleaning and found out that it only haves a Samsung 4gb 1Rx16 on a single existing slot, instead of the 12GB the OS and the the manufacter anounces. Is it really 12GB RAM or is ASUS missleading the costumers and cheating on the OS?
