    Thanks for the feedback, but it the battery wouldn't seated correctly I believe that the bios couldn't tell me the condition of the battery, right? so I don't think it's about not seating correctly... again, thank you very much for taking the time to help

    my Dell Latitude Z is a 4 years old and now works only when wired to electricity. as soon as I plug it out, it shut off immediately on battery even though the computer says (in the boot menu) battery condition is moderate
