Solved! I have a TCL Roku TV with one usb port, can I use a splitter?

Funny, I made sure when I purchased my first smart TV that it would have plenty of hdmi ports per recommendations. I use none of them, but need a second usb port. :cautious: Thanks americanaudiophile, I don't think I can use the same flashdrive because the TV formatted it when using it for...

Solved! I have a TCL Roku TV with one usb port, can I use a splitter?

Roku or TCL added a feature that I can pause live TV, which actually comes in quite handy. It requires a usb flash drive. I can also use the usb port for music that is on a flash drive. I would like to use both and not have to always plug/unplug them. Can I use some type of splitter to make...

Review Pixel 3a XL Hands-on Review: What Does $479 Get You?

I'm older and spent a couple weeks reading every possible review before deciding to purchase the Pixel 3A XL. NOT ONE review mentioned that it will NOT cast to a ROKU TV! NOT ONE! So I can't view my photos on my TV without spending more $$$. No one thought to mention this?

    I'm old and need help!

I'm aware of the "spying" issue, but then isn't everything tech spying on us? There are no "good guys" left, imho. That phone would sound great, except it would need to have band 13. According to Whistleout.com (they have some great articles!), I need LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 13*, 66, with 13 being...

    I'm old and need help!

My 3.5 yr. old unlocked $200 Huawei Mate 2's ( 16 GB/2GB) screen is popping out and fading so I need to buy a new phone (sad). I want to switch to Verizon for better coverage here in AZ and need to purchase a new phone. Huge chunks of AZ, some pretty good sized towns only have Verizon...

    The Best Cable Modems

Why don't they make modems with an indicator so a person knows when it needs to be replaced. Issues connecting to the internet could be the fault of the provider, router, modem, or the device that's trying to connect. It's a nightmare trying to troubleshoot where the problem is.

How to connect a DVD HDMI media stream to a older model tv

Well, received everything (DVD and cables). It was very easy to hook up and everything is working the way it should. The problem is that, apparently, I still cannot get my pc to just display on the TV. I am able to connect via DLNA. I am able to connect to my phone. I have Netflix, sound...

How to connect a DVD HDMI media stream to a older model tv

I think I have found a better solution, but am waiting for confirmation from Panasonic as I don't have the DVD player yet. I just ordered the a Panasonic DMP-BDT225 (aka 230) blu-ray DVD player ($35) that is "smart". Supoosedly, I should be able to connect to my internet wi-fi and my phone...

How to connect a DVD HDMI media stream to a older model tv

Ouch, $69.95 - could put that towards a new TV. If it were < $30, I'd buy it. Thank you, though for what I need. I never thought about them not working simultaneously. Sounds like I'd have to fool around a lot with pc settings to MAYBE get it to work. As for another device, like a dvd...

How to connect a DVD HDMI media stream to a older model tv

I've been struggling with this issue for years. I have a CRT HDTV with DVI-D input, Component Inputs (480i/480p/720p/1080i) (Pr/Pb/Y/R/L), S-Video, and VGA/RCA(?) audio/video input. I don't want to lose quality by very much so I don't want to buy one of those $15 VGA converters. I want to hook...
