Hi I'm using windows xp pro ,it got to the stage that it would not boot up just went to screen saying disc error so i formated the hole c drive and took away the partitions except for 8mg which would not delete had to boot with norton to get it running then reinstalled window it still crashes...

Hello,aspire 5100 problems keeps dumping then showing blue screen then saying disc down but on disc chk all ok
