Yeah, the temps are the exact same, though when i removed the old thermal paste there was paste overhanging the actual frame of the cpu/gpu and I didn't want to remove them since I might've broke something..

Can't exactly remember, but I'll test the temps now to see whether putting on new thermal paste helped.

No but I've ordered some isopropyl alcohol to remove the old paste on the cpu and gpu and I'm replacing it with arctic silver 5 paste. Is that a good idea?
