Hi I spoke to ASUS support and they are telling me to do a factory reset of my computer. I tried the movies in another ASUS laptop and they worked fine. The CD-ROM drive works fine but it does not recognize the DVD movies. It recognizes any other disc I put in. Do you have any suggestions?

Yes. It can play a music cd.

My ASUS notebook does not recognize any DVD movie.
