your describing the steps i just described to relay my problem not solve it, the icon for the monitor is no longer in the realtek window. when you right click the speaker icon just the headphones and the digital stuff for the sound board are in that window. im on win10 on a hotrod custom rig tbh...

as i went to switch the sound from headphones to the monitor ( by right clicking the lil speaker icon to get the realteak win) to my shock the monitor symbol was no longer there my question, how do i get it back?
