Thank you for your reply! I know I have replaced the battery before but cannot remember how long ago. So might order a new one. Can always return it if that does not solve my problem.

I have a Toshiba Satellite S55-A5275 and it will not boot up on the battery. And if you un-plug it while running it will turn off immediately. Th.e battery icon on the task bar says the battery is fully charged at 100%. Any ideas???

My Toshiba laptop will not play any DVD/CD's. I went to the Control Panel Device Manager and it says the player is working properly. When I put in a DVD and click on the D: it asks me to insert a disc. I also checked for any updates for the player but Windows 10 says the latest drives are...
