We could prevent the miner from running, maybe even installing, but that would leave the obvious problem that the something that installs it is still in your computer. Try a full scan from windows defender if you haven't already tried that. After that, if you know when the miner will appear...

Call me the necropost master, but if you happen to be victim of ransomware, not paying, unless specified, does not do more damage to your computer as it is already encrypted and your chances of having the skills to decrypt it are very very slim. You have to pay up or reinstall basically.

Someone here was having the same problem. They seem to have located a program called rthdcpl.exe which was responsible for creating the miner program. Try to locate it using task manager. They believe that antimalware couldn't find it because it is a PUP instead of malware.

I see. I had a hunch that it was a premium service. If you have an encrypted word file there isn't much need for your browser passwords. Perhaps delete the really important passwords stored on the browser for security reasons. Assuming your passwords aren't all the same, that is.

This forum with the same question links to this FAQ site which says how to disable certain components of the antivirus. Avast is a very trusted software though, and if avast can find the passwords, malware can. Perhaps follow avast's instructions on how to get rid of/hide these passwords? I...

I'm not so sure the Jabra move has a microphone, I know the Plantronics Backbeat has one though, so the call quality will be better on that one. EDIT: The Jabra move does have a mic, but the Plantronics has a slightly better quality one. I'm not sure if it is worth the extra money though...
