hi is it worth the jump to 1440p for gaming i dont want grief because most people on 1080p so 1440p has issues and is it worth it as in noticably wow

thanks for the replies i heard today that newer games will require 6gb vram for ultra settings so maybe the r9 295x2 with is 8gb vram (i think ) is the right choice because ill only have 4gb vram on the gtx 970 what do u think

i was set on a gtx 970 and maybe get another later because im interested in 1440p and not sure one would be good enough but i heard today that new games may need 6gb of vram for ultra settings so maybe i should get the r9 295x and know im covered any opinions welcome thanks
