Yeah I feel like an idiot now. I tried them on another device and they didnt work. I assumed they were broken and tossed them. Thank you guys for the help though.

Forgot to add that the headphones have a built in mic, but no volume control. The impedance on the headphones is 32 ohms or whatever that symbol is. The earbuds are the same brand and worked right out of the box.

Well the headphone plug has 3 white rings around it, and the buds have 2 black rings. Other than that, they are the same size.

I just received a pair of Ifrogz headphones as a gift, but when I plugged them into the green jack behind my pc, I get no sound. I get the notification that I plugged in an audio jack, but no sound. All my sound settings seem ok, and I have up to date drivers. The jack in front doesnt work...
