    Finally found the problem.. There was a screw in one of the fans. That was annoying.

    Clunking noise from hard drive being caused by the laptop itself?

    My hard drive makes a loud clunking spinning sound fairly often. I assumed it was a bad drive. I took a hard drive from my tower and tried it out. The noise is still there and I have no idea what it is. Anyone got any ideas?
