    Best laptop brand?

From a gamers point of view, I have become disappointed in my ASUS G73, and the inability to update video drivers w/o the risk of system lock ups. Therefore I am voting for Clevo/Sager!

Help i can not see my desktop just an empty blue screen

Have, you tried booting into safe mode? Hit PF8 after your BIOS loads and see if you can login with the administrator account. If you can login this way create a new userid, and see if you can login with the new userid. If this works the original userid/profile is corrupt.

    Got my new laptop, and...

If your G72 is anything like my G73 for turbo to work in Windows 7 if has to be enabled in the BIOS. Hit F2 shortly after turning on your system and go to advanced tben naviagate to Asus easy over-clock and make sure it is set to Turbo. Sorry I am not familiar with your other issues.

Solved! Brand New Laptop - What security/software tools should I use?

I agree with Avast! free version for a powerful machine, and MSE for a system with lower end specs. I also have Malwarebytes free version that does not run real time but can be used for quick scans. Also you will have to manually update it. I have successfully used MS backup for imaging in win 7.

I would recommend asking vendor to flash BIOS to 209, and test the system prior...

    Whats The best?

Bilabos, If you mean the Mesh Edge DX Pro that system looks great! The specs look really solid, a nice gaming rig. From what I have read 4 GIG ram is plenty for gaming and maximiing Win 7 64 bit performance. The cooling on the $1600 US ASUS is supposed to be excellent, I would like to see more...
