That computer is pretty basic, it doesn't have an external graphics card, it's onboard with the CPU chip (APU). It will play Fall out 4 @ 30~ FPS on lowest (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7satrHTo2QI). Bare in mind that the computer has no operating system, and probably has a very basic cheap...

I have ASUS k53sv sx542v. Laptop was dropped, worked on external display for a few months, now it doesn't show a white screen as it used to. It now shows a black screen and it won't work off external display anymore (LCD SCREEN) .. Any suggestions? Has my logic board broken now?

Simple tasks it will still be good for a fair while. I only just upgraded from an old i3 laptop. At the end of the day, we can't tell you though. How does it feel? Is it still keeping up with your tasks fine? Only should be worried if it's laggy a bit

Whilst ASUS hold a great reputation, I feel the 32GB DDR4 just isn't needed. I think the Acer laptop is the best power/cost in this situation.

The Asus, its more popular so I assume it's better. Has more channels too and looks nicer imo.

Cards are pretty much equal, only up side to the Asus is it has 7.1 channels compared to 5.1. They are both highly regarded cards with the same reviews. Go for whichever you want, will be minimal, if any difference.
