    How do I get 5.1 surround sound from my laptop, to tv, to Visio soundbar?

    I have my Samsung 7 Series laptop connected to my Samsung tv (UN55EH6000F) via hdmi and then optical audio out to Visio sb4051. I'm not getting full surround sound on this. Seems like just stereo. Am I missing something here?
