Battery is 2 months old, asus laptop is 2,5 years old.

My Laptop (asus) wil not start with the battery inside. The light shows that it's fully charged and that's the only thing it shows when i plugg the adapter. Without adapter and with the battery it doesn't show anything. With the adapter and without the battery, the laptop works fine.
