you could use a simple 3.5mm audio cable and plug your laptop's audio output into your desktop's audio input (should be the blue colored audio jack in the back) and then activate the playback. i use the same thing whenever i play console games but i want to use teamspeak on my desktop for comms.

i have went trough yet another headset that seems to break after a very short time (Turtlebeach px3, sony pulse elite and now steelseries syberia v3). i am looking for a good sounding headphones with or without an attached microphone. i was simply disapointed in the sound of those last headsets...
