I recently bought r510jx and i can play most games in 1920x1080 in medium even GTA V .So for me its ok. This i7-4720HQ is a beast .It can handle almost any task:). So any laptop is good EXCEPT r510 has no backlight keybrd and a useless VGA camera:(.So decide Cheers!

U mean to say that the homescreen wallpaper is used in the lock screen also? Are u using any launcher?Download a launcher from play store then try to change wallpaper for lock screen.(Recommended google now launcher or Nova launcher)

jelly bean 4.2.2 does not have a screen mirroring feature.However u can use App called airdroid to wirelessly transfer files to laptop/pc and many other features.I dont think there is any other major app which can be used to cast or share screen to a laptop or PC. hope it helps:)

are u new to android stuff rooting installing firmware? Then u need to search the net for ur firmware (probably the PARA 7 tablet website) .

as deadgraphics said buy an i5 and not an i7 .i5 is bit cheaper and gives optimum performance and can be overclocked better:)

Nexus 7 2013 shud do the job.Has full HD 7 inch screen and just the things u might want in a tab for everyday use.consider the LG Gpad also cuz its a HD 8 inch screen doing the same job as the nexus 7:).Galaxy tab 4 is good too but heard that it lags too much but it is for YOUR price point.

s4 mini would be the rite option if u select between these two phones mainly becoz of the future android updates and the custom roms available for s4 mini:).Specs are good enough for smooth gaming.

Lets see the problem here.U said that u left your phone for hours together and it stayed at samsung GT-XXXX without any more booting rite? then only way to solve is to go to odin mode and reinstall firmware.(should work at any cost if there are no hardware issues).Register in www.sammobile.com...
