Thank you so much. I will stick with Win 7 Ultimate then. I was just looking at new and or replacement batteries for the asus eee pc. I believe the one I just purchased has a 6 cell battery. I'm seeing alot of 8 cell. Would it hurt/destroy the computer to purchase a battery with 8 cells?

Morning, You've been such a great help. Thank you. The area the seems to get hot is more on, what looks like, the hard drive? It's in the center, underneath. Could that be the hard drive area? Also, it says Windows 7 Ultimate (2009 - Service Pack 1) :) :)
