    Hardware Monitor is the best monitor for your hardware, but it does not keep track of system crashes. If your system is crashing, there is something wrong with it.

    LED is more efficient and runs cooler. Plasma has a better picture and lasts longer. IMO of course. If you go plasma I recommend Panasonic.

    So the charging light and indicator comes on with the old battery, but not the new battery? In that case, it's probably a faulty battery, swap it out. Otherwise, it's the charger.

    The battery is faulty or the charger is bad. Return the new battery and if the next one still has the same problem, your charger is bad.
