If your looking into linux and you want to be able to install and uninstall things easily windows is your best bet. but if your stuck on linux ubuntu is the easiest

if its a ticking its most likely your HDD if its a high pitch squeak and there is something in the optical drive its most likely the optical drive. if it is a general squeak and coming from the bottom it could be a resistor or other wire thing.

or your charger is crap.

Your battery is most likely crap.

Would a EVGA GeForce GT 740 4GB GDDR5 go good with a computer running a intel core i5-4440 cpu and 12 GB of ram. My OS is Windows 10

Some websites have copy and paste locks. They may have just implemented that feature on that particular website.
