    I swapped out a failing HD from my Gateway laptop and tried to reinstall the OS ( Vista 64 bit) with the original recovery dis

    Tried several internet found solutions but none worked. I reinstalled my newly formatted old 250 GB drive and it seems t work just fine, but I really need the extra storage for my photography. l56genius
