The Toshiba is the better laptop. Although the 740m GPU will only just about get Medium settings on the games you want to play. I'd recommend saving up more money and purchasing a laptop with a minimum of a 850m.

As for the RAM, 8GB is fine for gaming but you might want 16GB for PS, AF and Premiere.
