You'll need to buy the IPhone 4S or 5. I still haven't figured out why that is, but it seems to be the case. I love Android and have done a lot of research and now know that I'll be on Sprint if I go with Android. I'm looking into buying a Sprint Airave which will boost my signal.

I just learned from a chat line with Verizon that their own pre-paid plan service does not use their regular network, so if the phone is 4G, it will not work. However, that doesn't explain why the IPhone runs off the Verizon towers with Straight Talk. I haven't figured it all out yet, but now...

I've had to deal with the lousy Sprint signal for a few years now. They, did, however send me a Sprint Airave that connects to your internet and boosts your signal. It works pretty good. I just don't know if you can buy one, but I'm pretty sure you can.
