    No, Esc does nothing. At this point I think it is a issue with the key, though I have no idea what it could be.

    I can open Task Manager but not by using Shift+Esc. I have the most recent version of Windows 10 and I don't believe I have any virus or malware. Every other key is working fine, it's just Esc that's not responsive.

    I have an Acer Aspire laptop with Windows 10, and in the past few days I've noticed that the Esc key does nothing when I press it. Shift+Esc and Fn+Esc do nothing either. No program that I've tried to use it with has worked. I don't know whether it's a software or hardware problem.
