I think you might have that backwards.... Most laptops only have OUTPUT options (meaning they send data from the GPU to a monitor) and not the other way around. As far as I know, there is no way to change an output to an input.

The base $849 model of the y510 only has the 720p screen. The GT 750M should be ok for gaming at that resolution with low/medium settings. It will not perform well at any resolution higher than that. The base y410 doesn't give you much else over the 510 with the exception of a tiny bit of extra...

Mildly off topic, but I am absolutely amazed that manufacturers still use 5400rpm drives in systems they are dubbing "Gaming Machines". How much could they possibly be saving the end user?

Pretty sure you can actually buy them in the Kindle Store. If you want, PM me the books (with the ISBN if you have it) on the list and I can look in the Kindle Store and see if they are there.

See what they are using for the books. The Eee Pad has the Kindle App and Amazon just started doing text book rentals. I would be surprised if you couldn't find what you need in the Kindle Store.
