VGA input on notebook as output

Hey guys,

first of all, sorry if I posted in the wrong forum (as a German I couldn't figure out which one to choose).

So, I've bought two adapters in order to play Nintendo 64 on my notebook.

One cable connects the SCART adapter with the VGA input on my notebook.

How can I turn the VGA input into a VGA output?

If this question has already been answered, I would be happy to get a link; I couldn't check because I'm in a hurry.

I think you might have that backwards.... Most laptops only have OUTPUT options (meaning they send data from the GPU to a monitor) and not the other way around. As far as I know, there is no way to change an output to an input.

You can attempt to get a TV Tuner card that has the the standard RCA inputs on it. But as it stands, with the typical array of connectors that come on laptops these days, I would go with no.
