the HDMI ports on my TV are broken, and it is my only screen, I tried to fix this problem by buying a HDMI male to VGA male, and using the PC input on my TV. I have a hdmi box with 3 inputs and 1 output and I thought putting a HDMI cable in input 1 and the HDMI/VGA in my tv and in the output would work, but it hasn't. What am I doing wrong?
I was trying to use my laptop wirelessly from the other side of the room, and play on my "new" console, but couldn't with the HDMI, luckily it came with a SCART so I am using that for the time being potentially until I buy the correct things or buy a new TV or monitor.
