Headset Audio differences

I have some problems with HpyerX cloud 2. There is the USB dongle and the headset’s own 3.5 jack. Why is it that when I input the jack into my Desktop PC it has more bass and sound clarity than when I input the jack on the USB dongle? Thanks.
