    An update on the upgrades.....The SSD was delivered today....I have it installed with a fresh Windows installation....it is fast....boots up in under 20 seconds.....RAM will be delivered tomorrow and the new dual band WiFi card will be here on Sunday...

    I downloaded the cpu-z app but, it didn't give me the Model #....that's okay....I am going to do the "straight forward" upgrades. I have 32GB Ram on the way, an HP 1TB SSD, and a new Intel Series 9000 WiFi card to replace the 3165ngw. I will be happy if it boots up faster and executes...

    Should I go ahead and install the 32GB if the machine supports it? I mean, if 16GB is enough, will it still be even better with 32GB or will I notice any difference?

    Thank you for the quick reply.....the 8GB memory stick that is in the machine at this time is Samsung.....I am running some "model train software" and will be casually surfing the internet....I am going to give the 16GB a run and see how it does....I may go for the 32GB if it speeds things up...
