Thank you so much for your help guys, I figure I can just get a optical splitter as well so my X-box can use the sound bar properly for games/dvds and Chromecast/freeview will have to do with the 3.5mm port on the TV. Soon to have the most wired , wireless soundbar in the world!

I might try and bring the soundbar back to the shop as I have been reading they have a good reputation for returns. Would it be better to get 2.1 PC system if I only have a headphone jack ?
