Hi, thank you for the reply and this might help for other people in my situation. Even tho I don't like (without a menu) to press buttons. My tv remote has a button called 'aspect' and when I pressed that I got the whole screen :) the screen options on this tv only gave me widen or narrow...

So far I always had a full screen on my Panasonic hdtv 1080i. Last night we lost electricity for about 15 min and afterwords my tv has now 2 black side bars, not a full screen. I don't have a manual but I can find a 'full screen' on my picture size menu. How do I get rid of the black sides...
