I got this laptop out of a dumpster and fixed it up software wise for my own personal use. Only problem is the backlight is all messed up and the CPU needs upgraded. The backlight only turns off if I mess around with the screen (moving it up/down or pressing the edges), so would that be wiring...

Alright guys, I actually just went into safe mode, loaded AVG, did a scan, got rid of the malware. Thank you for the suggestions!
