Finally found the answer. Setting the back light to 100% removed it. Setting it on anything below and it will hum!

I have a Samsung UE50JU6875 that is humming. The only thing that removes the humming is switching to Dynamic screen settings. That would be the solution if it wasn't for the fact that the TV looks like crap in that mode :/ Is there anything I can do to solve the humming issue on Standard mode?

There is no model name, brand name or anything and yeah they look like every other speaker. Alright then, thanks for your help, just wanted to hear if there was anything to look for:)

Helping grandma getting rid of some of my late grandpa's stuff. We found two speakers and a receiver. The receiver is a Yamaha RX-V496RDS and the speakers are unmarked but they look at least 25 years old. Is there any way to see how many watt the speakers are at by opening them up or something?

Normally my TV plays them by default if they're in the same folder and share the same name but this time it just didn't work. I merged them onto the mkv file and that worked, thanks!
