so no one knows what could be the problem here?

the cable works fine on other devices. i even tried my HDMI cable which i use for my PC and its still not working. i still think it has something to do with my laptop, if not even win 10 its self for not recognizing that its plugged in to something.

of course. it just keeps telling me "no signal". i have plugged it in HDMI 1. the tv is a brand i have never heard of. its a soniq. was given from my parents.

wow. i really did not expect this OS to take up that much space. no wonder my father has hardly any space left. good thing CCleaner removed a lot of the temp files and other junk to make his laptop work a bit faster than before. thanks for the info guys. much appreciated.
