    If they are telling you that it doesnt work with that OS and the site said that it does, i'd be threatening false advertising. Did they offer you any solution other than changing the os?

    Hey i may not be any help but since no one else has responded, i shall try. Have you searched for the 750 evo drivers? I had the 960 evo (m.2) the bios update worked for me. So im interested. Also have you tried looking in device manager? it may need a format/reformat?

    Have you tried updating the windows? there may not be any update for vista anymore but its worth looking, if not may be worth trying for a new headset

    My only thoughts would be to try different headphone jack. Do you have this in the front or back, either way reverse it. Also if you have another headphone set you can trouble shoot with the other set. If they work or dont work in one of the two ports. Report on update.
