Of course you can! but i won't recommend it. your laptop is already heating up by just the laptop monitor, image an second screen with it and you can start making scrambled eggs on the back of that laptop xD

It is your CPU and GPU that causes the problem. The CPU has already a lot of work to do since it only has 2 cores on a 1,7Ghz speed, which in 2018 is quite slow (no offense) And the GPU is on-board, and if i know anything with on-board video cards, the quality while gaming is uttely terrible...

What you are thinking is correct. one note is that you have to see the small tube as the charging cable (described as before) whenever you remove the tube out of the cup with water, the water inside of the tube returns back to the tube and/or spills somewhere else, with the actual charger it...

as long nothing is powering with that charger, there is no worries that the UPS would lose electricity? no problems to leave it in there, shouldn't cause any problem but still watch out to not spill anything on it as water and electricty are each other's worst nightmare

The problem is a driver issue. Updating your driver will help. Try Driver booster 6 or Driver easy software to update any outdated drivers on your laptop restart your laptop after the update and the problem should be fixed :D
