The LED-LCD screen was replaced. Now it works fine.

The screen on our HANNSpree SN10E2 HannsBook got damaged, and the screen lights up, but it's all garbled. We can see normal video when an external monitor is attached. Is there a way to determine which part needs replacing (LCD, LED, etc.)? Is it likely just needs a new screen?

Thanks for comments. I will check out heat situation, charging info, etc. and post back. I wonder if the Windows "charging meter" (in the system notification area) is reliable; it should eventually show 100% charged, correct?
