My Sony VAIO VGN-CS17G came across this problem a few days ago when I was playing GTA San Andreas. It suddenly got shut off, no bsod or anything, and then restarted on its own. After this, the problem persisted and now the pc reboots even when I open a 720p video... I am pretty sure it's a GPU...
