Torchlight 2 Delayed for Tweaks and Balancing

Little sad this game will launch AFTER GW2. Was hoping to have it as a great game to play before August 25th. Alas, I'll see Torchlight 2 when it goes on sale on steam.

Verizon: U.S. Constitution Allows Data Throttling

Stupid metaphor... they aren't like editors of a paper, they are more like the print shop choosing to not print the paper because it says something bad about what they like.

RIM CEO: We're Not in a Death Spiral

Only thing that will save RIM from complete irrelevance is if they actually get their hubris out of their asses and realize that they need to move to being a hardware manufacturer that makes elite Android phones. Seriously, RIM could just run android on their phones, create a great phone that...

Google's Nexus 7 Already in Patent Hot Water?

belardoIEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi standard? Its an INDUSTRY standard This. It would be nice if this article actually explained what Nokia owns of this and how. Does that mean Rosewill had to pay Nokia to use the IEEE 802.11 standard for my cheapo wifi desktop card??

Android Exec Would Welcome a Partnership with RIM

Android phone with RIMs messaging/email business infrastructure and physical keyboard? This should be here right now. RIM is hemorraging, they need to be selling Android devices with their own blackberry messaging that will give them a competitive advantage over other Android devices.

Microsoft Offers First Look at Windows Phone 8

Looks like they want a more seemless integration between their phone, tablet, laptop and desktop OS. I'm all for this change and will most likely replace my Android device with a Win 8 phone when it comes out to go with a nice Win 8 Slate that has pen input and x86 support for REAL applications.

    YouTube Exploring Subscription Service

If I can finally get cable channel programming that isn't offered on Netflix or HULU (like the Food Network) on YouTube, sign me (and mostly my wife) up.

HTML5 Slow Adoption Due to Cost, Fragmentation

Soul_keeperEverything adobe has ever made has been crap and crashed. You can vote me down all you want, but their products suck and segfault constantly. Even if that is true for most (which it isn't), find us a better design suite that actually has a usable interface. Good luck with that.

Google Says Android, Chrome OS Will Eventually Converge

God he sounds like a Bioware dev trying to explain away why TOR is just like WoW. Just because Apple does it doesn't mean its what people want right now. We want a seamless experience from our phone to laptop to desktop. However you make this happen, the answer is not iTunes.

Microsoft Files Patent for Dragable Tabs in Browsers

Opinion: 5 Letdowns of the New iPad - Is It Good Enough?

watchaDon't be ridiculous. The CPU doesn't have to run 4x as fast to power a screen which has 4x as many pixels. That's mainly handled by the GPU, which is (Apple claims), 4x faster. This means it can run games at 4x higher the quality (on the new display) without sacrificing the 60 fps.Do you...

icepick314"You wouldn't steal a car." - RIAA""We believe that in the nearby future you will print your spare parts for your vehicles." - The Pirate Bay Their files for 3D printing as they envision it, are no different than having some blueprints. 2011 Was Ninth Warmest Year On Record

Man, there are still that many people that deny the huge impact humans have on climate change and that it is a real threat to our security? Since I'm gathering most of these deniers come from the States it should also be mentioned that over 50% of the US population still denies the Darwinian...

MPAA Calls SOPA Blackout Day Dangerous and Irresponsible

I loved the Dodd/Frank Bill to help re-regulate the financial system, but this is not the good fight for Chris Dodd. It's impossible to get someone to see the truth when their paycheck requires them not to.
