The second ones are better, they come with an included amp and i think they are more confortable, but they are 20 buck more expensive and the first one arent bad, the others are just better. You cant go wrong either way, but if you have the money then get the newer ones.

You can buy a mod mic to attach to your headphones, they cost from $6 to $20 on amazon.

Gaming headsets are never good for audio quality, dont know anything about the hd 600 but they are sennheiser so are probably very good.

Ram latency or brand doesnt make any difference in gaming, capacity does, but up to a certain point. Buy from a big brand with a long warranty, g skill is a good one. You have a spare slot in that notebook, so you dont need to replace anything.

Personally wouldnt get any of those, my choices would be the audio technica m50 for music, or for a more gaming oriented headphone but still very good for music and with a detachable mic, the hyperx cloud II.
