Ram for Gaming?

Hey guys, at the moment I'm planning on maxing out the ram on my MSI GE62 2QE Apache. I would like to know what ram would be the best choice for me to buy. Also would I need to replace any pre-existing ram sticks?
Cpu: Intel® Core™ i7-4720HQ-2.6GHz

Ram latency or brand doesnt make any difference in gaming, capacity does, but up to a certain point. Buy from a big brand with a long warranty, g skill is a good one. You have a spare slot in that notebook, so you dont need to replace anything.

Ok so I checked up on the G Skill website for the different types of ram they sell and I am quite lost at which to pick. At the moment I am looking at the Ripjaw series, which should I pick? (x1 8GB Stick)

Get the cheapest one, it wont make any difference, but know that for that notebook you should first try to get a DDR3L memory stick,
