I bought my Gateway NE71B laptop in 2012. A few weeks ago, the screen stayed blank (dark) when I booted it up. I connected it to an external monitor, and the screen showed up fine, so I ordered a replacement LED screen; however, installing it didn't fix the problem (the screen is still dark)...
