I couldn't find anything in the TV settings to enable or disable ARC. Ultimately I just went and bought a digital audio cable and that worked.

I've got a new Samsung TV hooked up to an Onkyo receiver. My HDMI cable is running through the HDMI ARC port on both devices but when I go to Netflix or YouTube on the tv, I don't get any return sound. I tried changing my receiver audio source to TV but still nothing.

Thinking about purchasing a gaming laptop. Want a 17" screen. Would like to keep it under $1,500 US. I would be using it to play stuff like Sim City and Total War. Recommendations? I'm not really in a rush so I could also wait a couple months before purchasing if prices would be decreasing...
