Hi there thanks for the help, yes ave no phono output on tv so I bought a converter from optical to phono, it must be crap! Is head fone jack ok to use? Wil this give me the best sound? R whts the best thing to do? also how do you get better sound playing iphone through amp? Will a dac fix this ?

I connected my amp to my tv via the head fone jack and sound is better then the optical cable why is this ?
