Are you asking how to always use the AMD and not the Intel graphics? Most laptops switch between the two depending on if you are on batteries or plugged in to the charger. I know you can change this by setting it to performance in the power usage options. I don't have a laptop to try this out...

I like Avast, it's free version is somewhat more limited in the services it offers compared to buying it, but it's still very good and not resource demanding.
