Much thanks for your timely reply. I will then challenge the carrier but still might like the challenge of working on a phone. I;ve only built desktops and changed notebook boards. If you have any specific guidance on this model I would appreciate it.

Have the HTC touchpro phone. It is dated but if i change the phone, even with another HTC touch pro, my monthly rate will triple. I have some experience with building and repairing electronic items. I have a replacement phone and would want to switch the glass display half on to the keyboard...
