Smart Phone Part Replacement

Have the HTC touchpro phone. It is dated but if i change the phone, even with another HTC touch pro, my monthly rate will triple. I have some experience with building and repairing electronic items. I have a replacement phone and would want to switch the glass display half on to the keyboard half. Hoping to connect with someone who might have performed such a task as I might want to try it myself. Guidance sought

Your rate does not change if you change your phone unless you're buying a new one from the carrier. They have no say in what phone you use as long as it's compatible with the network.

Much thanks for your timely reply. I will then challenge the carrier but still might like the challenge of working on a phone. I;ve only built desktops and changed notebook boards. If you have any specific guidance on this model I would appreciate it.

Can you explain better what you're trying to accomplish here? Your post leaves a fair number of unanswered questions.
